I have lots of news since Friday. First, I got a new computer on Saturday. It's the HP Mini netbook. I absolutely love it! Second....I received my first commission Sunday! One of my friends is coming with me to the War of 1812 reenactment at fort McHenry in September and she wanted some clothes of her own,so we didn't have to share 7 dresses between 3 girls. She's asked me to make 2 dresses and a spencer jacket. I'm really excited. I started the spencer last night but didn't get as much done as I wanted. Everything is cut out and I started to put the back together, but, as usual, I messed up so I had to take the whole thing out. I got it to t

I know I said I'd get back at the beginning of the week, but I am soooo bored. It is now August 6th and I am still riding in this infernal car.T.T  We left the hotel this morning a bit before 9 eastern. Today we have about 8 hours worth of traveling to do before we finally get home. It should be better than yesterday though. The scenery in east Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginian is far more interesting than that of Illinois and Indiana. I about died of boredom when it was my turn to drive. Well, it's been a few months since I journaled. I always chastize myself for leaving such large gaps between entries, but then I always forget to get on.  It's now August 5th, which is just over a month before school starts on September 8th, which I hear is quite late as school starts go. It's nice to not be in school for my birthday for once, but I get this feeling that I should do something special this year. The problem is that I can't figure out what I want to do, so...  Anyway.
